The bowls neatly stack inside each other the sieve is useful and the measuring bowls are great all in bright colours not to forget the cullinder

All style, no substance

From reading the reviews, I knew that the sieve would be flimsy but the rest of the set was supposed to be dishwasher-safe. I put the small green bowl in the top rack of my dishwasher but the colander only fit in the bottom rack; the bowl is fine, but the colander is now noticeably warped on one side. (Incidentally, I have a set of nesting bowls I bought from Ikea a decade ago and they still look great, despite having gone through the dishwasher countless times. And they only cost a tenth of this set.)

The other issue is one I didn't discover until I tried using the measuring cups for the first time. When I'm baking, I like to run a knife across the top of the measuring cup to make sure I'm measuring ingredients as precisely as possible. That's only doable with the smallest measuring cups because the others are countersunk, so that the handles allow them to nest properly in the set.

The set looked gorgeous when I first took it out of the box, but it turned out to be a real disappointment. Unfortunately, it isn't possible to give less than one star otherwise I'd give it zero. As far as I'm concerned, this was a complete and utter waste of money.

Love it!!!

Don't know why I didn't buy the set sooner!. Easy to clean and so compact, great for any kitchen but perfect for me because my kitchen is so small.

A present to myself....

This certainly adds some colour to my kitchen. Fantastic design and great for storage. It should be noted that nothing in this set is microwave safe.

We love the economy of space this gives -they stack so well.
Only one cavil there is no metal sieve for really hot items- so there is a need for a seperate metal sieve .

Great Refill Pack

I purchased this pack for my Braun toothbrush. The items are original and the same as in the supermarket but much cheaper. Highly recommended.

Snuggle up

Got this for the wife after she was poorly just before Christmas. I recommend this apart from the light colour of ours may lead to numerous washes and a degredation in properties. Never the less I will be ordering another one for my father.

Also disappointed

I ordered this item because it was shown in royal blue but the colour when it arrived was dark blue. I could have got the dark blue one cheaper elsewhere.

Disapointed

Nice quality but I ordered it in blue, the only colour they said was available, a cream one arrived after 11 days. It is not worth returning as would cost too much in postage and it now says sold out anyway.

Would definitely recommend for back pain

I suffer from severe lower back pain and hesitated to buy any new mattress in case it made it worse. Finally decided to get the thicker mattress topper and can only say it's the best thing I've done.

One thing that put me off before was the smell according to other reviews, but I can honestly say there was no odour at all from either the mattress or the 2 pillows I got with it (except a faint new smell as you would get from any bedding but certainly not unpleasant).

Although I've only used the topper for a few nights now, it has definitely made a huge improvement to my bed - I couldn't sleep on it at all before due to a hard ortho mattress. I left the memory foam for 3 days to expand and it nearly reached the advertised 3 inches, but is thick enough to not even feel the main mattress underneath. It doesn't look as if it'll be soft but it is when you lie on it, your body just moulds into it. Oh and don't worry if it looks like it has a big dent/fold when you first open it out, that disappears after the first day.

Another reason I know it works is that I've had to lie flat with a pillow under my knees, so my heels dig into the bed, and I wake up with pain from the pressure it causes. In the few nights I've used the topper I haven't had any pain in my heels at all. I need to give it more time before fully singing its praises but so far I can't recommend the memory foam topper enough, especially for anyone who has joint pain.

The pillows look like huge boulders when they first expand and appear as if they'd be uncomfortable, but like the topper they mould into you and are really comfortable (up to now I've been using 2 ordinary pillows on top of a big cushion, AND a lumbar cushion underneath my back). I feel as if I'm lying in bed properly again.

It's not often I buy something that I truly feel is worthy of such a good review but I feel that so far this deserves 5 stars.

Ooh so comfy.

Having tried a polyester topper,which went lumpy, then a feather topper which needed 'plumping' every other day and speared us with stray feathers most nights, I ordered a 3" memory foam topper.Memory Foam Mattress Topper 3 Inch - Double Bed Size - (Now Includes removable and washable velour cover !)The day after the box arrived, without fully unpacking it, I stripped our bed ready for the topper and was dismayed to find it was recommended to air it for 72hours to allow for expansion and get rid of the harmless chemical smell, after 4 nights fighting our cat to get into the spare bed(his bed)I made up our own, the topper is EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE and doesn't move, but after 7 nights, the smell!!!!! is still there , even with me stripping the bed back each morning and leaving it open all day.We have to make sure the duvet is tucked right up under our chins. The leaflet does say the smell should go away after 3 weeks, so here's hoping that's right or it's back to sharing Charlie's bed!!!!!!

First Impression

I've had my mattress for two days. When you wake up in the morning it is hanging off the bed by four inches. Not a good start.

Almost 2 weeks on and the mattress is starting to lose its memory and support. I'm even less impressed than before.

SOOOO Comfortable

What a great buy this has been. My husband was always complaining about how uncomfortable our orthopeadic mattress was, and how his back always hurt of a morning. So we decided to buy this topper after reading the reviews. We ordered on Thursday night and it was delivered at 9.00am Saturday. It was in such a small box I thought we had misordered. Having unpacked it, it started to spring into life. The only big problem found was the smell. I sprayed it with frebreeze, which didn't help much! The smell was so strong that the first morning we both awoke with a headache. The only way to get round it was to leave the bed uncovered in the day and sleep with the door open at night, thankfully this only lasted a few days. The mattress is so comfortable, we have never slept so well, and no more aches and pains. Only two downsides, one: our mattress is a deep one and with the extra three inches on top I had to buy new sheets. I bought an extra deep fitted sheet, which didn't work too well, but then tried a king size flat sheet which was perfect. Second problem, it is very hot, don't know what it's going to be like in the summer months BUT- would we swap it - never!!!

Best thing I've bought in years

I spent almost £400 on a good quality mattress about 18 months ago, and within a month started experiencing early morning lower back pain. This has steadily got worse over time, but I refused to believe that the mattress was to blame, especially after spending so much on it. The back pain got so bad that I found it extremely painful to get out of bed in the mornings, and even slept on the sofa many nights.
After noticing that my back pain got better after sleeping on the sofa or sleeping at friends houses, or basically anywhere apart from on my £400 top of the range mattress, I decided I had to get rid of it and mentioned this to a friend.
She told me about these mattress toppers, which I'd never even heard of. She said the memory foam were the best for back problems, so I bought this one. I've not even had it a week yet and my back pain has substantially improved, to the point where I expect it to dissapear completely quite soon. It's amazingly comfortable, and you can feel the support it gives your back as you sink into it. This has saved me having to get rid of my mattress, and I'm now getting the best nights sleep I've had in ages.
I thoroughly recommend this product, especially if, like me, you experience lower back pain in the morning.

Not as advertised.

Luxury? No. Snuggie? No. I was disappointed at the fact that it was falsely advertised. The item in question didn't have a colour selection list, so you just get what you're given. I was expecting a blue one, however a brown one has been delivered. If you want an actual Snuggie, this is not for you. However, if like me you just wanted a blanket with sleeves, then this is alright. Plus it's a lot cheaper than an actual Snuggie. The pocket was a surprise too. This product is not for me, it is a joke present to someone so it doesn't matter that it is not of the best standard. However, the seller should have clearly advertised their product and provided a colour selection method. If you are buying this for yourself, I would not reccomend it. Plus there was no receipt with my purchase, so even if it was faulty, I could not return it.

Snuggie lover

I was shopping with my mother a few weeks ago when i saw the snuggies being sold and as it was the last day being sold on a stall they were half price, i instantly brought one as i thought it was such a fantistic idea!!! and i was right, i love my snuggie, its not that thick but due to the size of it it certainly keeps the warmth in, i even wear it while walking around the house or when i pop outside for a smoke (no need for a coat lol)

my mom borrowed my snuggie the other day and ever since has driven me crazy asking for one , unfortunatly i couldnt get her one from any shops or the jml web site so looked on amazon, it hasnt arrived yet and it looks a little different to the one i have but im sure mom will love it.

i feel the cold so much and always want the heating on but since i have had my snuggie i havent put the heating on once which is saving me and mom money on the bills too lol

Snuggie blanket

Every aspect of the thing was wrong! The colour was foul and it was so big it swamped my wife. It has been returned but as yet I have received no money back.

Not as Advertised

The Snuggie has finally arrived a week late. It is not a Snuggie as advertised. It is a cheap, nasty, nylon felt thing. There are no instructions on how I can return it and get my money back. I have written to the company and will keep you posted.

Snuggie ?? Blanket

Dissapointed in the fact that this item was advertised as "SNUGGIE" blanket as seen on TV. On arrival no mention on box of "SNUGGIE". Instead it is called "Cuddle Blanket" As seen on TV. Have never seen this on TV. Only ordered because advertised as SNUGGIE. If you want a SNUGGIE i would avoid this supplier. WILL NOT USE AGAIN. After many brilliant transactions via Amazon

Great little gift

I bought these hand warmers as a little stocking filler for my boyfriend this Christmas and he said they are his favorite present! We have used them about 6 times now. They really work and stay hot for about 10-15 mins(just long enough to walk from the bus stop to work). Then just boil them up in a pot for a couple of minutes and they are ready to go again. Genius!!

Indispensable

Have used these almost daily since I bought them. They heat up very quickly when activated to a good temp which gradually cools down over about 20 mins. Fantastic for walking the dog and I bought my Mum a pair and she uses them to keep her hands warm in church! Only take 4-5 mins in boiling water to be ready to go again. Quite sensitive after first use so take care not to drop one or it will activate when you do't want it to. Great product.

Very happy with the product

Not warm enough & cools down much quicker than claimed

My girlfriend bought me this hand warmer for Christmas, and I tested it indoors. It was very easy to use, however the surface was tepid, and I'd imagine not nearly hot enough to warm up your hands while skiing. Also, it cooled down in under 10 min, as compared to 20-30 min claimed. May be I got a defective one, but I was disappointed with the performance of this had warmer.

AMAZING!

Incredibly quick delivery! Products exactly as described and shown on website. Worked very well; i took them skiing and they were perfect. Very easy and simple to re-use (and use), although I would recommend not leaving them in the boiling water for quite as long as it says on the packet....
Definitely worth the money!

Good but short cable and very noisy

I have used the Hot Cup regularly for 6 weeks. I have rated it with four stars because of its very short cable, 35 cm/14 ins. I use my Hot Cup in the bedroom so the short cable presented a problem. (It blew my extension so I had to rearrange furniture to accommodate it near a plug!) It is also noisier than a kettle so in a bedroom environment where there are other people nearby it is 'a loud cup of tea' first thing! However, I still recommend it - it is a far more economical and practical way to have a cupper. It is an elegant appliance which does what it promises - produces a mug of very hot water in less than a minute. A button releases the lid enabling easy refilling. In my opinion it is a very good buy and energy saving. Unlike its newer (more expensive) successor it has no flow regulator but it is easy enough to use an empty mug or a jug to top up an existing drink.

Breville Hot Cup

We liked the idea of not boiling too much water & have found the breville to be
perfect for one or 2 cups without wasting electricity.
I would recommend it to anyone.

It's Tea-rrific (sorry)!

Mug of tea or coffee in 30 seconds no problem! If you want to make a pot of tea and the pot doesn't fit - then use a pint jug, I do and 4 presses of the button is still quicker than boiling the kettle. Warm the pot first (knitted tea cosy optional) and it will remain scalding hot when required even to those 10 cup-a-day hardened tea drinkers with an asbestos lined gullet.

Think of the saving on the Electricity Bill. I now only boil exactly what I need. I regularly have a roomful of friends around, and I can honestly say that it is quicker to make the various tea & coffee requests than before, and there is no compromise in temperature. My sister had one of those instant hot water ones, and the water produced was tepid (it also conked out after 4 weeks).

What on earth are most of you complaining about the noise for???? The kitchen is not normally my room of choice to have 40 winks (God help you if you heard the Ding on my microwave!) The kettle makes a whoosh and spitting noise for about 3 seconds. It was not so long back that the bloody things whistled at you. My Nan would still not be without her "Whistling Kettle" dispite my offers of a whooshing one!

Finally, like most customers on here, I too would like to be able to alter the volume of water to cup or mug etc. However if this facility was available then no doubt the price would obviously need to reflect the additional design & construction costs and would make it less desirable.

Therefore I'm more than happy with mine!

Brilliant- Much better than 'quickcup'!

This is fab, totally changed our kitchen. The water that comes out is boiling (unlike the QC, which is tepid) it has a drip tray (unlike the QC) and is stylish too. Makes a noise when the water comes out, but it is no different in volume from the Tefal version.
I love having instant tea, and so does my husband! It makes the gravy quicker, the baby rice quicker, everything that needs boiling water quicker! I even use it to fill up my hot water bottle in these cold winter nights! Would reccomend!

Simply fab

I had used the Tefal version of this device but the water temperature really let it down, so I am so impressed by the Breville. I drink lots of tea and I am very fussy about it too, however the piping hot water produced by this machine makes a lovely cuppa and it is great that it is actually too hot to drink right away!

I like the energy saving nature and I did a 'boil off' with my old kettle, I boiled just one cup in the kettle and infact filled 3 cups with the Hot Cup in the same time! It is also great as I often put on the kettle, pop off to do something and then return 20 minutes later and have to reboil the kettle, now I pop in my teabag, press the button and by the time I have got out the milk and a spoon, my cup is filled - fabulous!!

It is a shame that you can't choose a smaller amount of water, but the drip tray is very deep and so any overrun is taken care of and in fact most of our mugs comfortably hold 250ml. I have read complaints about the noise and yes it is a little noisy, but for such a short time (2 or 3 seconds) that I think this small niggle is out weighed by all the benefits.

I am really pleased I didn't get the Tefal and would recommend the Breville Hot Cup to tea and coffee drinkers alike! I haven't needed to use the kettle since I got it which is now a week and a half!!
